1. Jack car up from back
2. Unbolt mid-pipes
3. Curse at bolts that are frozen in place
4. Get a bigger breaker bar for better leverage
5. Curse and scream as you bash knuckles on bottom of car when frozen bolt lets go
6. Take a beer break
7. Gee, that beer was really good.....have another
8. Using hammer and a long metal rod, start pounding out cats
9. Curse and scream when hammer slips and you smash your thumb
10. Go inside and bandage thumb
11. Get distracted by COPS on your way back out to the garage
12. After cops is over decide its time to finish working on car
13. Go outside and have another beer....or three.
14. Continue pounding out cats
15. Curse at cats when you inhale too much ceramic dust
16. Drink another beer to help "wash" down the inhaled ceramic dust
17. Finish pounding out the first cat, and start on number two
18. Explain to police officers why you are making so much noise at 11:30 at night
19. Assure police officers that its completely legal to remove the cats from your car because you have "pre-cats"
20. Deny that you have been drinking as you kick the empties under the car
21. Call 5 of your "closest" buddies before one of them agrees to come bail you out for noise violations, public intoxication and littering
(The following afternoon)
22. Pick up where you left off, pounding out the second cat
23. Curse cats when ceramic dust gets in your eyes
24. Start to have a beer, but then think better of it
25. Bolt mid pipes back onto car
26. Look for missing nuts for mid-pipes
27. Decide to use SAE nuts and "persuade" them on
28. Use the bigger breaker bar for leverage to put on SAE nuts
29. Curse and scream when stud twists off because your forcing a SAE nut onto it and you bash your knuckles on bottom of car (you just don't learn, do you...)
30. Decide "Fuck it, I can live with an exhaust leak"
31. Lower car
32. Pick up tools etc
33. Wash up
34. Re-bandage thumb
35. Go drive car
